It is with great pleasure that we showcase Rela and Don Gleason’s extraordinary Casa Kulanu in the November issue of Architectural Digest.

The house is the culmination of a seamless and harmonious collaboration between interior designer Rela Gleason and architect Bobby McAlpine—two dynamic creative talents with strong points of view.

I’m deeply intrigued by the magic they have conjured here. The structure is at once a stunning design statement and a warm, inviting family home that reflects the Gleasons’ personality and flair. It suits its remarkable rugged mountaintop setting, and though just a few years old, it is imbued with a rich patina and a sense of history. This place represents my favorite kind of home: one with soul.
